Every Filipino fan of Jalen Green knows how incredible Jalen moves on the court, but do they know what kind of person he is outside the court?

Green, who is playing for Team Ignite of the NBA G League, talked openly about his basketball life and what he actually liked doing in his spare time.

Green revealed more about his personal life in an Instagram post from the NBA G League, aside from being recognized as one of today’s promising basketball talents.

“I like pets,” Green admitted.

Actually, aside from basketball, he likes dogs as well. Currently, he’s got a five-month-old terrier mixed named “Future”.

“At one point I wanted to be a vet,”

Due to his passion for animals, the 18-year-old even considered a career aside from being a professional basketball player.

That was in the past, but when the NBA G League kicks off in February, the Filipino-American youngster attempts to lead a group of top prospects.

“Outside of basketball — pretty much all I like doing — [is] probably just quality time with my friends,” claimed Green.

Green loves the basic things of life, much like other teens, such as going out with his friends, taking care of his pets, and shopping for clothes.

“I like buying clothes and stuff like that… or getting them for free. So anybody out there [who] want to send me some stuff, it’s that time,” Green replied simply during the interview.

Jalen appears to really have it worked out as someone who has a talent for keeping up with the new trends.

“I like fashion, I like clothes. Buying clothes and stuff like that,” he said.

As soon as he picked up the ball at a certain community church and tried some granny shots, Green knew at age five how he got into basketball.

“I’ve been in Cali pretty much all my life, just traveling, playing in different states. But representing Cali is pretty good.”

Jalen Green, together with his co-Filipino teammate Kai Sotto, and the rest of Team Ignite are getting ready for the NBA G League season at their home base in Walnut Creek, California, scheduled to throw off in February.
